Students participate in a wide variety of activities during the school day.

Chapel
Students and faculty worship every Wednesday in the sanctuary.  Elementary students conduct the salute to the American Flag, the Christian Flag and the Holy Bible.  The salutes are accompanied by appropriate songs after which a class or guest speaker presents a program.  Middle school chapel typically consists of a praise and worship time followed by a message from a speaker. Middle school chapel speakers are most often pastors from First Baptist or other evangelical churches in the Suffolk area. Parents are always invited to attend chapel. 

Field trips
Each class schedules at least one field trip per year which is an extension of the classroom objectives. 

Special programs
Thanksgiving program, Tree Trimming Ceremony, End-of-the-year Honors Ceremony, and others.
