POLICY OVERVIEW

First Baptist Christian School seeks to enroll students whose parents want them to have a Christian education. Both students and parents should be informed of the school’s Christian emphasis and agree to support this part of the training.

Prospective families must first complete an application packet and submit all of the required documentation. Students in grades one through nine must then schedule and complete an admissions test. After a review of the application packet and test results, the family may be invited for an interview with the Headmaster. Prospective kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before September 30.

The admissions process is designed to identify families and students for whom FBCS provides a good academic and spiritual fit. The school will enroll students based upon a variety of criteria, not on a first come first served basis.

PRIORITY ENROLLMENT

FBCS offers priority enrollment for presently enrolled students, provided the re-enrollment forms and registration fees are submitted by the early registration deadline.

Limited priority enrollment for qualified, new students is offered, as space is available, to siblings of currently enrolled students and to students whose parent(s) are members of First Baptist Church. The enrollment privilege must be exercised by the early registration deadline.

NON-DISCRIMINATION STATEMENT

First Baptist Christian School does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its admissions policies.
